Our Mission & Values

The Veteran Strongman Association (VSA) is committed to saving the lives of veterans in the United States and working to reduce the rate of veteran suicide by increasing awareness among U.S Veterans, active military service members, and reservists about the sport of strongman, fostering camaraderie, providing competitive opportunities, and creating a community of athletes, coaches, and supporters within the existing community of strongman athletes. VSA leadership has established a set of core values for the organization and will remain steadfast in adherence to these values and fostering these values with its members, donors, sponsors, and partners. The six core values of the VSA are:

VSA members will remain at the heart of every decision made by the organization. The VSA will strive to save lives as we create and grow our community of members by providing them with support and opportunities to train, compete, and become stronger physically and emotionally through the sport of strongman.
