What We Do

Coaching

At the Veteran Strongman Association, our coaches help veterans and service members train, grow stronger, and prepare to compete in the sport of strongman while providing the structure, accountability, and camaraderie that is often missed after military service. With their guidance and a supportive community, we help each athlete rebuild a sense of purpose, pride and resilience through strength.

Strength4Strength Endurance Challenge

The Strength4Strength Endurance Challenge is a fundraising event where teams will test their limits by carrying heavy objects like sandbags or farmers handles for 2 hours and 20 minutes — a tribute to the strength, sacrifice, and teamwork of our nation’s veterans. Hosted by VSA members and supporters across the country, each event helps to raise funds and awareness for veterans mental health.

Competitions

The Veteran Strongman Association will host two annual competitions exclusively for veterans and active-duty service members — the online VSA Push/Pull For Patriots, featuring max-effort press and deadlift events, and the VSA Invitational, a traditional, in-person strongman contest with events like the log press and yoke carry. These competitions will give members a mission-based training goal and offer supporters meaningful ways to volunteer and strengthen our community.
